Pallet conveyor
system MAXI

Designed for interoperable transport on assembly lines. Part to be assembled is carried on a carrier on two parallel moving conveyor belts. In individual process steps the carrier with the part can be stopped with high accuracy, wherein the belts beneath the carrier slip, and the carriers have no position bound between them (they move independently).

Properties I

  • before each technological operation there may be a queue of several carriers which creates a buffer stock to cover the unevenness of the process cycle

  • operator is not forced to adhere to a fixed machine cycle

  • easy to change the shape of the assembly line, or include a new work cell in the existing line

  • existing parts of the conveyor system during changeover to a new production

Properties II

  • through exchanging the carrier, there is a possibility to assemble products of similar type on a single line, or branch the technology flow

  • each carrier may store data on individual technological operations in its own memory

  • based on that information, defective pieces can be rejected returned after the rework

  • each PTS system station can be gradually expanded by dedicated installations which will result in fully automatic production

Linear assembly line

The carrier (once travels all the track and after the final product is removed from the carrier) returns to the beginning of the assembly by lift and lower conveyor.

Circular assembly line

Four conveyors and four movable stations form a ring in which the technological operations follow each other.

Circular assembly line with parallel branches

This arrangement has some additional options compared to the conventional circular assembly line: rework or scrap defective pieces, or multiple types of products can circulate in the line that have stops in different branches.
