Cross Joint Insert

The connector consists of an aluminum cube with three holes featuring countersinks for socket head cap screws (Allen screws). The connection is made by screwing the cube through its center hole into one of the 45x45 structural profiles with slot 8 (Nut 8). Roll-in/T-nuts are inserted into the second profile, and the remaining two screws are tightened using a ball-end Allen key.

The connection allows for a sliding joint and ensures smooth movement of the components thanks to the smooth surface of the connecting element. A major advantage of this connection is its high rigidity. In the case of protective enclosure structures, the connection requires the use of mounting blocks to fit the infill panels.
