Connection – Special Connector
Connection with the special connector 214508 is primarily characterized by simplicity of execution. To create the connection, only an M8 thread and an Allen key (hex key) are required, so no extensive tools or servicing are needed to assemble the structure. The connection also allows for adjustment of the relative position of the connected elements.
The joint consists of a steel block with a hole and thread, a socket head cap screw, and a set screw (grub screw). To create the connection, the socket head screw with the steel block should be threaded into the profile, leaving minimal clearance to allow the second profile to be inserted. The set screw is then tightened to push against the bolt, eliminating clearance and securing the connected elements in place.
